Date of Birth Changes Online

Members of the Sons of The American Legion can make changes in date of birth information via the internet.  Instructions for making these changes online are listed below.


Log on to the Sons of The American Legion National Website at:
www.sal.legion.org

Click on Membership Information
- 4th box, top section - yellow box, Name Membership

Second blue line states:
Online Change of Address Form

New screen will appear.

Next will state Change Your Address Electronically!
Just click HERE.

Then, click on Sons of The American Legion.

Enter 9 digit Membership ID.

Enter last name.

All of the member's information comes up.  You can verify the address, add the phone number, email address, and date of birth. 
Click submit and the screen tells you to allow 24-48 hours for change to take effect.

Note:  You CANNOT print the screen once you submit, so if you want a copy be sure to print BEFORE submitting new information.
