SAL Squadron 222 meets monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month at the same time as the Harvey-Marrero Post 222 Meeting. The meeting begins at 7:00 PM, with a meal served before the meeting at 6:00 PM.

American Legion Harvey-Marrero Post 222, Voiture 201, 40/8, and SAL Squadron 222 held their Joint Installation of Officers on July 18th at Post 222. Past Department Commander Raymond Walters installed Commander Melton Gaspard and Post 222 Officers. PDC Walters also installed Chef De Gare Donna Fransen and her Officers of Voiture 201. Southern Regional Vice Commander Emmett Crosby installed newly elected SAL Squadron Commander Mike Deidrich and his Officers. Following the Installation, awards were presented, and a meal was served.
